Kiesel Guitars 2025 Updates

AC2: The Aries 2 Acoustic

The Aries series is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a big surprise: an acoustic-electric.

The Acoustic Aries 2 utilizes the modern, sleek A2 body but carves out a separate niche in its physical and tonal properties.

Maximized chambering and sound holes lend themselves to optimizing acoustic qualities while also allowing the model to shine brightest when plugged in. Because of this construction, the increased feedback resistance enhances live-playing sounds. A preamp designed by Kiesel provides acoustic-like tones. One of the most unique features lies in the string type, with the model available with acoustic steel or nylon strings.

Foregoing the traditional acoustic-electric neck profile, the comfortable, standard Aries neck is equipped to mimic the playability of an electric guitar.

Available in 6 and 7 strings.

Zeus 2 and Osiris 2

The Zeus and Osiris, two long-time staples of Kiesel Guitars, receive a revamp eight years after their inception.

Introducing the Z2 and O2.

In addition to the new neck heel, both bodies are modernized to further capitalize on comfort and playability. Various modifications were made to each model in accordance with this vision.

Both the Zeus and Osiris series cater to different players in terms of body shape. However, with the original functionality and simultaneous launch, the goal was to serve multiple communities with the same playability.

Therefore, the changes made complement both of the models. The shapes are offset to accommodate a more prominent arm contour, returning even greater comfort to the player, in addition to its aesthetic appeal. Bevels are added to the lower horn and body shape, reminiscent of the wildly popular A2.

Compared to the original Osiris and Zeus, the new radiused neck heel offers greater upper fret access. The fixed bridge models receive the rear access jack, a customer-favorite 2023 addition to The Custom Shop. The new saddles reduce the string-changing process to 1/3 of the time compared to the original, a change implemented across the Kiesel headless line.

The accompanying bass versions, the Z2 Bass and O2 Bass, follow in their guitar counterparts' footsteps with notable differences. The Z2 and O2 Basses feature a slap ramp, Darkglass preamp, and standard Tritium pickups. Due to the popularity of the multiscale A2 Bass, the O2 Bass is exclusively available in a multiscale configuration.

New Radiused Neck Heel

Nearly every Kiesel model will receive the new radiused neck heel treatment, allowing even greater upper fret access than before. The rear bevel on the bottom horn assists in increased access.

In tandem with the above is increased comfort due to the rounded edges that remove possible harsh edges.
